Paladin, the leader in pro bono management solutions, today announced the launch of its new legal pro bono time tracking tool for corporate legal teams — functionality that empowers companies to track, manage, and visualize their pro bono impact with unprecedented ease.

Unlike law firms, which typically track pro bono hours in the same case management system they use for billables, most companies do not have a legal-specific time tracking function to measure the time their attorneys spend giving back. As a result, corporate teams have struggled to capture comprehensive data on their pro bono programs. Paladin’s new tool closes that gap by allowing in-house teams to:

  • Seamlessly track pro bono time alongside matter sourcing, distribution, and signup tracking;
  • Measure ROI and impact by quantifying the practices areas leveraged, as well as communities and causes served, against company goals; and
  • Visualize pro bono program development with real-time dashboards and customizable reports.

“This is a game-changer for corporate legal teams,” said Kristen Sonday, Co-Founder and CEO of Paladin. “For the first time, legal departments are able to demonstrate the full value of their pro bono contributions, both internally and externally, while making it easier than ever for volunteers to engage in meaningful work.”

With pro bono now a key driver of attorney development and retention, ESG reporting, and broader corporate social responsibility initiatives, this launch comes at a pivotal moment. By capturing data that has historically been invisible, Paladin unlocks new possibilities for companies to:

  • Benchmark participation and impact across offices, business units, and peer companies;
  • Collaborate with outside counsel and clients on shared pro bono initiatives; and
  • Leverage data insights to inform strategy and drive even greater community impact

This release builds on Paladin’s mission to streamline access to justice by connecting attorneys with high-impact opportunities and giving legal teams the tools to manage programs at scale. With this enhancement, Paladin continues to set the standard for modern, data-driven pro bono management.
