Felicity ConradCo-Founder & CEO
Before founding Paladin, Felicity was a litigator in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. An alumnus of NYU Law, McGill University and Sciences Po Paris, she previously worked at the United Nations on International Criminal Court issues, and has worked in international law around the world. Felicity was named a 2017 ABA Legal Rebel and FastCase 50 legal innovation honoree.
Kristen SondayCo-Founder & COO
After graduating from Princeton, Kristen joined the U.S. Department of Justice, where she worked on international criminal affairs in Mexico and Central America. After the DOJ, she joined the founding team of Grouper (Y Combinator W’12), learning how to build startups and use technology to scale networks. Kristen is a Fellow for Stanford’s Latino Entrepreneur Leaders Program, and a Google for Entrepreneurs Code2040 Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Kristen is also a 2017 ABA Woman in Tech to Watch as a result of her access to justice work through Paladin.
Phoebe DugganDirector of Programs
Phoebe is an an Australian-trained lawyer who, before Paladin, worked at Justice Connect where she helped deliver access to justice through pro bono legal services to people experiencing disadvantage, and the community organizations that support them. After relocating to New York City in 2014, Phoebe worked as Director of Program Operations for a national program for young entrepreneurs before joining Paladin in 2016.
Matt is an engineer and technical leader who believes in the power of technology to build a more just, equitable and sustainable global society. Prior to joining Paladin, he built products for innovative organizations including Hillary for America, charity: water, Thoughtbot and cleantech startup Enernoc.
Diego AllenContract Software Engineer
Diego is a passionate developer who turns ideas into elegant, functional solutions that solve real problems. His weapon of choice is usually Python, though he tries to be technology-agnostic and adapt to the tools best suited for the project at hand. He enjoys a challenge and always strives to learn new things.
Travis LloydLead Product Engineer
Travis is a technologist who believes in the democratizing potential of the internet. He is most interested in projects that address the social issues facing urban populations, such as those related to equity and access to resources. Before joining Paladin, Travis worked at Amazon, where he built publishing and screenwriting tools for filmmakers, and Whole Whale, where he built analytics tools for nonprofits.
Ilana FlemmingDirector of Customer Success
Ilana is passionate about increasing access to justice and empowering attorneys to engage with meaningful pro bono work. Prior to joining Paladin, she was a staff attorney at Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where she worked with major law firms to develop, implement, and manage pro bono programs. After graduating from The George Washington University Law School, Ilana worked in non-profit policy advocacy, advocating on Capitol Hill for laws that improve the health and safety of women.
Sigourney NormanCommunity Manager
Sigourney feels compelled to make our society not only more just, but also more equitable. Both a graduate of Tufts University and J.D. holder, she brings a wealth of experience to the team, ranging from the legal departments of Salesforce and TIDAL, various practice areas at a law firm, and most recently facilitating partnerships at a public service organization. She is passionate about the power the intersection of technology and justice work has to uplift and strengthen communities.
Eric KrawczykSenior Software Engineer
Eric believes that technology is essential for equitable progress. Having worked with seed- and growth-stage startups for several years, he brings extensive experience in taking ideas and turning them into products. Prior to joining the Paladin team, he worked at SkySpecs (Techstars R/GA '15), leveraging autonomous drones to make wind energy cheaper, safer, and more ubiquitous. Eric is thrilled to align his professional work with his personal values and build tools that make justice more accessible.
Maya BielinskiDirector of Product
Maya is a lawyer by training with a deep interest in how technology undergirds, promotes, limits access to, and produces knowledge, culture, and justice. Prior to joining Paladin, she led the product team at a legal research company that sought to make legal knowledge more accessible and — before that — practiced intellectual property law.
